Zagoriy Foundation presents a study «Charitable Giving as Viewed by Ukrainians in 2021» which analyses key trends in charity and identifies points of potential growth of the sector.
The study describes the state of charity in Ukraine in 2021. Similar research was conducted in 2019 to be repeated in 2022. However, the pandemic, lockdown, and sudden transition to online activities have made their adjustments to the usual course of life and changed the landscape of charity. Therefore, our team decided to analyze the situation right now. Thus, in 2021, 67% of Ukrainians join charitable giving, compared to 60% in 2019.
«Charitable Giving as Viewed by Ukrainians in 2021 contains an in-depth analysis of how people engage in charitable giving and why they avoid helping others. We paid special attention to the attitude and trust in charitable foundations.
The survey was conducted by the Ukrainian Center for Public Opinion Research «Sotsioinform» commissioned by the Zagoriy Foundation during June-July 2021.
