Background
Halt is a military space for like-minded people created under the support of Zagoriy Foundation in 2023.
The project emerged in response to the need for a space where like-minded people could meet safely.
Mission
Everyone in the tribe must be able to protect themselves and their loved ones. Only then will the tribe survive.
The team believes it is vital for everyone to find like-minded people. That is why the space brings together service members, veterans, civilians, and anyone interested in engaging with the military culture to develop and support the Ukrainian Army.
Halt has permanent residents, partners, and friends. These include: the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine, the Third Separate Assault Brigade, the Security Service of Ukraine, the PSD-info community, the Main Directorate of Intelligence, the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Marine Corps, and other brigades and branches of the armed forces.
Military communities and units can receive “space on demand” free of charge to conduct training courses, ideological and educational events, recruiting activities, and networking meetings, as well as engage volunteers and anyone interested in military culture.
One of the project’s core values is working with young people.
“We believe that national resistance starts with the youth. Hence, military-patriotic education for teenagers is one of our focus areas. In March 2025, we launched a pilot project in our space together with several schools from Kyiv oblast, following the ‘Defense of Ukraine’ program. Tenth and eleventh grade students gained truly relevant skills: tactical medicine, the basics of operating drones, and weapons handling,” said the military training program team. In September 2025, the second phase of the military-patriotic education project started.
Halt also hosts “Dni Hartu” (Military Training Dyas), i.e., a two-day training program for civilians in three areas: pre-medical aid, UAV operation, and basic engineering from the Kyiv-based FPV drone workshop “Maysternia Zhuravlia,” as well as ideological training from the “Azov” Standard-Bearer Service.
