Activities

Zagoriy Foundation develops eight social projects and explores socially valuable ideas, further transforming them into effective models and scaling them through both partnerships and a community of change agents.

A humane farm combining the traditions of Ukrainian farming with modern technologies.
Cultural and arts space for children and adults in Yaremche.
An animal adoption and re-homing center where animals not only stay while waiting for new families but also undergo training and socialization to prepare them for a second chance in life.
A civic organization that promotes the prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Ukraine. The organization develops scalable solutions for the prevention and early identification of cardiovascular disorders: cardiological check-ups, awareness campaigns, research, and analytics. These are not single-event campaigns but rather a systemic shift in the culture of health care — as a new norm in society.
The international #GivingTuesday initiative developed in Ukraine by Zagoriy Foundation. It studies, systematizes, and scales up strategic social responsibility practices.
A military space for like-minded people that brings together service members, veterans, civilians, and anyone interested in engaging with the military culture. It also promotes the development of the Ukrainian Army — through “gentle” militarization of the society.
A gallery of Ukrainian origins featuring a collection of traditional Ukrainian attire and ceramics, as well as a craft shop selling works by local artisans. The project promotes cultural values and traditions, explores national identity, and offers space for authenticity and deeper connection with one’s roots.
A project aimed to survey past Ukrainian traditions so that everyone can choose which customs to incorporate into their lives and pass on to future generations. It is implemented, in particular, through free illustrated guidebooks created in collaboration with ethnographers, historians, and folklorists and available for download from the project’s website.
