Pro Bono Club Ukraine has created a support network for civil activists, media representatives, and volunteers, where participants work with the leading psychologists and coaches to regain their inner strength to work, live, and move toward victory.
From the first days of the war, Ukrainian society has demonstrated a high level of cohesion, unity, and initiative to achieve victory. Most volunteer hubs and civic initiatives work around the clock, seven days a week. However, traumatic events and constant work lead to exhaustion and fatigue.
“To support Ukrainian agents of change in their vital mission to bring victory closer, we are launching a support network to enhance resilience and foster optimism during these challenging times collectively,” says Maria Osypchuk, Operational Officer of Pro Bono Club Ukraine.
The program was designed to last for six weeks. Participants met weekly for online sessions with leading business trainers, psychologists, and coaches, and also participated in informal discussions to reflect and share their experiences.
Together with their trainers, participants worked on managing anxiety and stress, avoiding emotional burnout, working effectively in times of change, and maintaining their physical and mental health.
The program was free, and participation was open on a competitive basis.
The project was implemented with the financial support of Zagoriy Foundation. All activities were carried out according to pro bono culture (knowledge and skills volunteering and free professional and expert assistance for the public good).
